Karting driver holding a trophy on the podium

Kart Clinic

Start the right way.

Body Clinic's entry programme for young karting drivers and the parents who run their weekends. The habits that make the difference later, taught from the first season.

Most karting careers are decided by what happens off the track.

Sleep, food, fitness, how the family handles a bad heat. Kart Clinic gives young drivers and parents the routines that elite drivers use, scaled to age and stage.

The programme

Four things every young driver needs.

  1. 01

    Movement and fitness

Age-appropriate strength, coordination and mobility. Fun first, but purposeful.

  2. 02

    Race-day routines

Warm-ups, food, hydration and what to do between heats.

  3. 03

    Parents' playbook

How to support a young driver without adding pressure. Workshops and a written guide.

  4. 04

    Mindset basics

Simple tools for nerves, mistakes and losing well.

Before and after

The same race day. A different driver.

Nothing on the timetable changes. What changes is what the driver and the parents do in the gaps. Flip between the two to see the difference.

MOMENTA TYPICAL RACE DAY
  1. 6:30 · Wake upCereal in the van, phone in hand, first drink is a can at the track.Water first, proper breakfast, bag packed the night before.
  2. Before practiceStraight into the kart cold. Nerves come out as snapping at parents.Ten-minute warm-up: reactions, vision, a routine that settles the nerves.
  3. Between heatsSitting in the sun in a race suit, sweets, replaying the last mistake.Suit down, shade, fluids, a two-minute reset and one thing to focus on.
  4. After a bad heatSilence in the awning. Parents frustrated, driver in tears.A set phrase, a walk, then the debrief. Mistakes are data, not drama.
  5. EveningLate food, screens in bed, asleep after midnight.Early dinner, screens off, lights out by nine. Tomorrow starts tonight.
